Mechanical Fitter
TRS Resourcing has been asked to source and screen suitable trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters for packaging equipment. This is a day shift position (7:30am - 4pm).
Based in Keilor Park, our client seeks a suitable Mechanical Fitter for workshop-based work to assist with the set-up and check-off of machines before they are sent to customers. You must have basic welding skills, plus knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance of equipment.
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Fault-finding
- Service, repair and maintain the equipment as per requirements
- Set out and interpret workshop/engineering drawings
- Have the ability to prioritise work tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Mig and Tig welding skills
- Hold a mechanical aptitude
To be considered for this position, you must be able to provide the following:
- Reference contact details of two past employers
- Based already in Melbourne, Victoria
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification (desired)
- Own Tools (Specialist tools supplied)
