Online Bachelor of Education (Primary) Unit Authoring and design

VU Online is seeking experienced and passionate Teacher Education professionals or Teaching Academics to design and author undergraduate units for the Bachelor of Education (Primary), tailored for online delivery. These units are taught on campus and now require skilled educators to author new content and/or adapt existing content into engaging, high-quality online learning experiences. The units we are recruiting for are:

EEC1111 Personal and Professional Learning for Teaching

EEC1112 Human Development, Sustainability and Wellbeing

EEC1107 Educating for STEM

EEC1108 Literacy Across the Continuum 1

EEC2000 Succeeding On Your Placement

EEC2001 Creating a Positive Learning Environment

EEC2002 An Introduction to Differentiation

EEC2106 Approaches to Reading

EEC3000 Differentiation for Students with Disabilities

EEC3004 Pedagogy Today

Key Selection criteria

Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in Primary Education, including teaching accreditation.

At least five years of recent experience teaching or delivering professional development in a primary school or university teacher education setting.

Experience designing course materials or learning resources (online or blended delivery preferred).

Strong understanding of online pedagogy and strategies to engage students in a fully online environment.

A brief example of how you design student-centred learning in an online context.
