POSITION VACANT – Permanent Station Hand

A versatile station hand is required for a large dry area farm in Central NSW. This position would suit a family person given location and facilities. A house is provided which is located on the Lachlan River with a School Bus at front gate. It is 30 kms from the township of Lake Cargelligo which has both public and private primary schools and a public high school via a bitumen road.

The work is very diverse with the farm running both sheep and cattle as well as cropping over 30,000 acres of dry land crops and having an extensive silo complex.

The work will involve any relevant task at the time, e.g. trucking out grain, fencing, sheep husbandry, sowing and harvest.

Applicants need to be experienced, have a positive can-do attitude and be an enthusiastic team player.

Hourly rate will be dependent upon skills and experience.
