About the company:

Design and Build is recruiting for a Construction Manager on behalf of a growing Residential Builder in Adelaide.

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Manager who has local experience working across a diverse range of projects including detached housing, to head up the delivery of a healthy pipeline of work.

Responsibilities:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing 4 supervisors for investment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a team, excellent leadership skills, and experience working in the residential industry.

• Oversee and manage all phases of projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Address any issues or delays promptly and efficiently to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns

Skills & experience:

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, preferably onsite companion
• A degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Holding a builder's licence will be highly regarded.
