Northam Towing is seeking a Tilt Tray/Tow Truck Operator, to join our busy operation.

Ideal position for a mechanic looking for a change

A minimum HR drivers licence is required with a minimum 2 years truck driving experience.

The position requires the successful applicant to drive and operate a tilt tray tow truck, performing such tasks as transporting crashed and broken down cars, (with or without passengers), machinery, caravans, containers and other such items.

It is a full time position, Monday to Friday, and will include rostered weekend work and some after hours call outs. Mobile phone and uniform provided.

The applicant is required to be able to work unsupervised, be customer friendly, punctual, self motivated, with neat and tidy appearance.

Must like driving as will be required to do hundreds of kilometres a day, somedays.

Applicant must be able to pass a Police Integrity Check, as well as a Commercial Drivers Medical,including Alcohol and Drug Tests.

Previous experience in the towing industry is not required, as teaching of the equipment will be provided.

Truck driving experience is essential, and mechanical experience is essential.

Applicant must live in or near Northam, due to the nature of the business, and the locality of our depot.
