About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team at AES Environmental in Minto, NSW. The company manufactures Biological Safety Cabinets, Filtration Systems, Materials Handling and Hospitality Equipment. As a welder you will be working within the metal fabrication section.

What you'll be doing

• Performing welding tasks to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents to ensure accurate and safe welding practices
• Collaborating with team members to coordinate and complete projects on time
• Maintaining and operating welding equipment and tools in a safe and proper manner

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in welding or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Metal Fabrication or equivalent (Preferred but not essential)
• Candidates will be assessed technically.
• Demonstrated experience as a Welder, preferably in the Trades & Services or Manufacturing industries (Preferred)
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions
