We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health RN to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering culturally responsive care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in regional South Australia.
About the Role
This is a fixed-term contract through to 30 June 2026, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to holistic and integrated primary health services. You’ll work collaboratively within a supportive Mental Health team to deliver clinical services, therapeutic interventions, and preventative strategies that support the recovery and wellbeing of mental health consumers.
What’s on Offer
Base Salary: $100,294.58 – $123,801.54 per annum (based on experience)
Salary Packaging: Up to $15,900 per annum through Maxxia
Rural and Remote Incentive Payment: $4,700 for your first year
Qualification Allowance: Between $3,378 – $5,309 per year for eligible post-graduate qualifications (Post Grad Cert, Graduate Diploma, or Master’s)
Accommodation: Provided at no cost to you
Relocation Assistance: provided

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, safe and culturally appropriate mental health nursing services
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care planning and service delivery
Deliver early intervention and therapeutic approaches
Lead and support continuous improvement in clinical practices
Engage effectively with Aboriginal clients and communities
What You’ll Bring
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience, including mental health
Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent is (highly regarded)
Experience working with Aboriginal and/or remote populations (preferred)
