We are a medium sized multi-disciplinary team of clinicians that are based across the country. We have appointed a highly experienced Speech Pathology Clinical Manager, with over 25 years’ clinical, research and teaching experience and a passion for clinical supervision and developing staff. She has also recently completed her PHD. That’s the level of quality and support you will be afforded!!! About the role:

We are looking for motivated, client-centric, outcome-focused Speech Pathologists to join our expanding team of paediatric clinicians in Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and Queensland.

You will

  • Provide assessment and intervention to clients with a range of developmental disorders including ASD, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay and other diagnoses
  • Develop augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual clients needs
  • Deliver play-based early intervention services in the client's natural environment
  • Train parents, educators and other stakeholders in how to support the client and develop their communication, life skills, play and engagement
  • Work effectively as part of a transdisciplinary team
  • Be offered un-capped professional development allowances (some conditions may apply)

***Please note we can work to your areas of preference ie adults, children, assessment therapy. Being a generalist provider, we see all types of clients and can tailor a case load to suit your preferences

As a mobile therapist you will work from the comfort of your own home to plan and prepare therapy sessions before travelling into the community to provide your services at homes or schools. You will be required to manage your caseload by completing clinical notes and reports while communicating with your current clients and stakeholders via attending meetings, emails or via phone.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia membership
  • Knowledge of functional communication and swallowing assessments, interventions and outcome measures
  • NDIS/HCP experience and understanding is preferrable but not essential
  • A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Current driver's licence and registered vehicle
