Our Client

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at a Dose Administration Aid (DAA) facility. In this role, you will be responsible for deblistering medications, operating automated dispensing machines, and ensuring accurate preparation and packaging of medication aids for patients.

About the Role:

1x Production Operator – Day Shift (6AM – 2 PM) - $ 31.96/hr + Super

1x Production Operator – Afternoon Shift (2PM – 10 PM) - $ 35.8/hr + Super

Long term ongoing role with a view to permanency.

Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

Deblistering medications efficiently and safely using manual and/or automated tools

Operating DAA dispensing machines to fill medication sachets or packs accurately according to prescription orders

Conducting quality checks on dispensed medications to ensure accuracy and compliance with medication charts

Ensuring correct labelling of DAA packs

Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) standards

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in work areas, in line with pharmaceutical production requirements

Troubleshooting minor machine faults and escalating technical issues to maintenance when needed

Recording production activities and completing batch documentation accurately

About You:

Previous experience in pharmaceutical production, dispensing, or DAA packaging preferred

Ability to operate machinery and follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

Excellent attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods

Understanding of medication names and forms is advantageous

Must have good communication skills and work well with other team members.

Must have good computer skills and able to read, write, and proficiently speak in English.

Pass a medical exam.

Can submit and pass a police check.

Has full working rights and available to work Mondays to Fridays.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo an assessment, interview with the manager, medical check and submit a police check.
