About the role:
This role offers exposure to diverse matters involving medical and allied health professionals, including:
- Handle diverse claims, from professional negligence to disciplinary actions
- Represent clients in coronial inquests and regulatory investigations
- Collaborating closely with senior lawyers and clients to provide strategic legal advice
- Manage your own caseload with the support of experienced practitioners
The ideal candidate:
- Associate (3+ PQE) with prior experience in defendant insurance litigation, ideally within health law
- A law degree from an accredited Australian or New Zealand university, underpinned by strong academic records.
- Strong communication, time management & technical skills; and
- A positive attitude and the ability to maintain strong client relationships with a focus on client service.
