Due to our continued success, business growth and our continued focus on customer experience we are looking for an experienced Colour Selections Consultant to join our team on a casual/contract basis.

About the role

The role will consist of the following:

Conducting colour selection appointments with clients on their new homes from our selections showroom.

Clients will be a mixture of Greenfield , Knockdown Rebuild and Dual Occupancy projects.

Assisting clients in their internal and external selections of their home.

Marking up electrical plans and upgrades.

Confirming upgrade pricing with clients & estimating departments based on their selections.

Administration duties such as filling out the colour selection documents, upgrade lists & final specification lists.

Following up with clients on any queries and/or clarifications they have with their selections.

Skills and Requirements.

Must be able to work on Saturdays and occasional Sundays if required depending on appointment and client availability. During busy periods you will have to conduct an appointment during a weekday also.

At this stage you will have to conduct 1-2 colour selections per week with the potential to conduct more per week in future.

Understanding of new home construction, up to date with current colour schemes and styles.

Ability to interpret residential building plans including marking up plans as required. ( Kitchen Elevations, Electrical Plans etc)

Ability to interpret specifications of each particular home.

Need to be able to calculate pricing upgrades for clients based on their selections and set rates provided.

High attention to detail to ensure proper handover of colour file/documents to office staff.

Customer service focused and passionate about assisting clients in selecting their home inclusions.

Computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel)

Able to fill out colour selections documents using Microsoft Excel.
