We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical nurse educator to directly impact the care and quality services of an entire organisation. You will drive workforce capability, mentor nursing staff, and shape the future of care delivery through high-impact education within a large NFP organisation.

About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will lead the development and delivery of clinical education programs that uplift the knowledge, skills, and competencies of nursing and care staff across a range of aged care facilities. You’ll work closely with operational and clinical leaders to foster a culture of continuous learning and best practice care.
With flexibility to be based any of their sites and no requirement to work from a central head office, this role is ideal for a proactive educator comfortable with teaching online, and developing education plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement targeted training initiatives to enhance clinical care standards.
• Deliver onboarding and orientation programs for new staff.
• Lead competency assessments and support professional development across nursing teams.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and practical training aligned to evolving care needs and standards.
• Contribute to the rollout of updated clinical policies and improvement initiatives.
• Champion evidence-based practice and lifelong learning across the organisation.

About You

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (essential)
• Formal qualification in education or clinical teaching (essential)
• Proven experience in aged care and/or clinical education
• Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel throughout NSW and the ACT as needed
