We currently have a vacancy in our relaxed, flexible working environment for someone to join our friendly team, based in Milperra; south-west Sydney. Your responsibilities will include:

Factory hand duties include cutting materials, stock packing etc

Assembling products such as vertical blinds (machine operated), curtain tracks

Maintaining factory area eg sorting parts, cleaning, recycling materials

Assist in installing products at different locations eg blinds, shutters

Whilst all training will be provided, you’ll have experience using basic power tools, a friendly manner, be great with customers and enjoy variety as well as challenges. You’ll have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, be fit and healthy (it’s an active role!), the ability to work as part of a well-oiled team and have a current NSW Drivers’ License. You’ll be reliable, have your own transport (we work right across Metropolitan Sydney and occasionally further), be willing to take instruction, as well as possess a good dose of common sense. You’ll have great communication skills and be able to communicate well in English. All of these are essential to doing the job!! You’ll be permitted to work with no restriction on hours (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident).

Selection Criteria

We will select candidates based on the following:

Permitted to work in Australia without restriction

Great verbal and written communication skills to deal confidently with our team members and customers in a professional manner, in English

Ability to work as part of a team

Any tools / customer service experience is welcome but not essential!

A detailed background check, including References, will be conducted on the successful candidate.
