Due to continued growth, we are seeking Experienced Geomembrane Welding Technicians to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Geomembrane Welding Technician at AWL, you'll play a key role in delivering high-performance geosynthetic installations on major projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct equipment setup, operate and maintain welding tools and other installation equipment

Perform geomembrane welding using wedge welders and extrusion welders

Document work performed and maintain accurate installation records for quality control.

Operate within a high-performing team on fast-paced project sites

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on all worksites

Carry out physically demanding tasks in challenging outdoor environments

Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet deadlines and safety standards.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in geosynthetic lining installation

Solid understanding of geosynthetic project specifications and requirements

Ability to identify and test the integrity of plastic welds

Strong work ethic and teamwork skills

Commitment to safety and site compliance

Minimum Requirements

Open Driver’s Licence

Construction White Card

Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol screening

Desirable Qualifications

CN Licence (Crane)

IAGI or TWI/CWT welding certification
