We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Fabricator / welder to join our dynamic team.

Job security is very high as we have a large number of long term contracts on our books.

The industry is dynamic and quite diverse which makes our work extremely interesting and ever changing to suit the customers requirements

Job Description

The position will include sheet metal fabrication, assembling, mig/tig welding and fitting sheet metal components to MEWP's (mobile elevating working platforms)

You will be responsible for building, assembling and customizing truck bodies according to specific customer requirements. Mainly with the fitment of customized tool box locker's and the installation of various other components

Your role is crucial and you will work with other team members in insuring that the final products are high quality and meet the customers requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret basic drawings.

- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal lockers and accessories including Aluminum tray decks.

- Operate guillotine and press brake is an advantage

- Mig &/or Tig welding steel and aluminum

- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar role.

- welder mig/tig light gauge steel and aluminum

- Proficiency with hand tools and machinery used in sheet metal fabrication.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification or apprenticeship in sheet metal work or a related field.

-Previous experience working in sheet metal fabrication or similar manufacturing environment
