About the role

Kanga Loaders WA, a leading provider of compact track loaders and skid steer equipment, is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team in Landsdale, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring they are kept in top condition and operating efficiently to meet the needs of our customers.

What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of mini track loaders, skid steer loaders and other equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues

Maintain detailed records of all work performed

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and effective equipment servicing

Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest equipment technology and best practices

Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in automotive or heavy equipment mechanics, or equivalent experience

Proven track record of maintaining and repairing a range of equipment, including mini track loaders and skid steer loaders

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a range of equipment. Fork lift ticket required
