The opportunity

Vans Cafe & Deli is seeking an experienced waitstaff to join their team in Cottesloe, WA. As an Experienced Waitstaff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of this popular cafe.

Key responsibilities

Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner

Take accurate food and drink orders, and communicate them clearly to the kitchen

Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner

Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned and reset promptly

Assist with other front-of-house duties as required, such as cashiering and restocking

Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction at all times

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of prior experience in a waitstaff or customer service role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A positive, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude

Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including nights, weekends and public holidays
