About the role

Join the passionate team at Joey's Cottage Preschool in Chipping Norton, NSW as a full-time Educator - Diploma or ECT. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in your care.

What you'll be doing

Planning and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children

Observe and document children's progress and critically reflecting to meet their individual needs

Collaborate with the preschool team to maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment

Build strong relationships with children and their families, fostering open communication and a sense of community

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the preschool's policies, procedures and educational programs

Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards

What we're looking for

An experienced Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care OR an experienced Bachelor of Early Childhood Education having worked in an early childhood education setting.

A strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of children

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
