AJ Wilson Wholesale Food Distributors is a 100% locally owned & operated food distribution business with products ranging from frozen, fresh and dry goods, as well as packaging and cleaning solutions. We have something for every hospitality, food service business and home cook, all conveniently stocked at our centrally located warehouse in Forster. Servicing from Bulahdelah to Port Macquarie and inland to Gloucester, we service cafes, pubs, clubs, restaurants, aged-care and takeaways. We also have a retail shop open to the public Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm.

The Role

We are currently on the hunt for an enthusiastic and talented Sales Rep to join our small, close-knit team to identify, pursue and ultimately grow our sales volume and continue strengthening our existing business relationships with our customers.

This highly varied and dynamic role will see you sell to and manage food service customers with overall responsibility for sales, profitability, customer relationships and budgets. In addition, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing superior customer service by maintaining regular contact with customers and problem solving any issues in an efficient and client-focused manner;
• Identifying and pursuing potential areas for growth;
• Actively utilising key selling programs to build sales in existing & new customers;
• Advising customers of the total product range and supply/price trends;
• Identifying and managing low yield customers to transfer into a more profitable trading relationship;
• Staying active in education opportunities, participate in networking events and reading food service articles.
