Project Manager

Salary: Circa $200k with 5 day work week and no weekends

About the company: A well-established commercial builder with over 30 years of industry experience is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing and experienced team. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work and solid financial stability, the company delivers both new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including hospitality, retail, commercial, healthcare, aged care, education, and infrastructure.

Over the past three decades, they’ve built a reputation for successfully delivering award-winning projects valued between $1M and $25M.
This role is office-based with occasional visits to site to monitor progress. They work on a 5 day schedule so working Saturdays or staying late is not expected.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility through to completion and handover, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Lead the development of project briefs, manage procurement strategies, and coordinate the tender process through to contract award.
• Prepare and manage detailed project programs, cost plans, and resource allocations across design, construction, and delivery phases.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project coordination and compliance.
• Drive adherence to planning approvals and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within Commercial Construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience across commercial construction and refurbishment.
• Strong capability in feasibility studies, project scheduling, and budget control.
• Proven expertise in managing tenders, contract negotiations, and procurement
• Clear and effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
