About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sandwich Hand to join our team at Impasto Forno Antico' in Avondale Heights, VIC 3034. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and other delicious menu items to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

Assemble a variety of sandwiches, salads and other items using fresh ingredients

Ensure all food preparation is completed to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Assist with general kitchen duties as needed, such as stocking and inventory management

Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar sandwich or food preparation role, ideally in the hospitality industry

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused attitude

Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions accurately

Basic food handling and safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
