Eris Electrical Pty Ltd is a recognised field service provider based in Western Sydney supplying a high quality metering service to various energy retailers and meter providers.

Our business is continually growing which calls for additional field staff within our bulk meter exchange program. We are offering positions for meter technicians to engage in smart meter exchanges and maintenance works.

Duties & qualifications:

• Removal of electricity metering devices and replacement with digital smart metering. (WC and CT)
• Resolving communication faults associated with digital smart metering.
• Carry out specific testing at switchboards and recording information.
• Knowledge and commitment to work, health and safety.
• Sound understanding of the relevant network standards.

The successful candidates must have:

• Type 4 Meter Installation Training Certificate.
• Have safety awareness, and work within industry safety standards.
• Be familiar with metering work, with the relevant meter provider.
• Be reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.

The following qualifications are notably favourable:

• PlusES Metering Competency (or other metering provider)
• Class 2D - Energising Service Equipment (Level 2)
