THE ROLE

• Welding and fabrication of various metal structures and components
• Welding mild steel metal, occasionally aluminum and stainless steel with MIG and TIG available
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Operating welding equipment and tools
• Inspecting welds for accuracy and quality control
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Working in a team Environment

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Must be living in Australia
• Fit and healthy
• Self-motivated
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to read drawings
• Work unsupervised
• License and vehicle (preferred)
• Be able to do heavy lifting at various times
• Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times
• Forklift License
