About the role

Calling all Sole traders and contractors looking for consistent extra work $$$

We are seeking experienced people either Electrical fitters or Mechanical fitters to do service work on weekends at an Automation site. The hours will be every Sunday 6am to 6pm (service day) and with an opportunity for further 8 hours on some Saturdays. Additional to this we have casual shift coverage at multiple automation sites based in Melbourne, this role will be responsible for providing expert electrical and mechanical services to support the growth and success of our automation service business.

What you'll be doing

Maintenance, and repair work on a variety of equipment and machinery

Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed

Servicing Automation systems, conveyor systems

What we're looking for

Sole traders, Contractors or willing to obtain

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Fitter or Mechanical Fitter

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail

Formal qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade
