Molli is a stunning bar and bistro situated in the heart of the Abbotsford community; offering a relaxed but slick dining experience alongside a creative, seasonal, and thoughtfully curated food and beverage offering. We are now looking for a Restaurant Manager, reporting into the site GM, to lead day to day operations and drive our hospitality.

The Mulberry Group is a Melbourne-based hospitality group founded in 2011 by Nathan Toleman. Our venues today include Hazel, Dessous, Liminal, Lilac Wine, Molli, Little Molli, Heide Kitchen, Square One Coffee Roasters and our regenerative agricultural farm and social enterprise, Common Ground Project. Across our venues we now have a team of over 200 amazing people, and counting.

About the role

As a Restaurant Manager reporting to the General Manager, you would be responsible for:

Building and leading the team and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Ensuring that the guest experience delivered is aligned with the identity of the venue.

Curation of wine list, and continuous training of staff

Creating lasting connections and relationships with our guests.

Monitoring and driving the financial performance of the venue.

Ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations of the venue.

The ongoing training, coaching, and development of your team.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

A genuine passion for delivering warm and engaging hospitality.

An infectious passion for wine and ability to educate

The ability to lead and continuously develop the FOH team.

A talent for multitasking and problem-solving.

A proactive nature and the initiative to drive growth and improvement throughout the venue.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong financial acumen including cost of goods, labour, and overheads.
