You can choose if you want to work with adults AND/OR adolescents and children.

An exciting opportunity exists to join an established Clinical Psychology practise that offers treatment to adults, children, adolescents, couples and families. We have been operating for nineteen years and have an excellent referral base. Innerwise Clinical Psychology has a strong reputation for providing highly professional yet warm and friendly services to residents of St George and the Sutherland Shire.

We have newly fitted out premises in Penshurst. You will work with a team of Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars and Psychologists, some with over twenty years of experience in a supportive environment.

You can choose how many hours and which days you would like to work at the practice (1 to 5 days). We are open Monday to Saturday.

Plenty of parking is available nearby the practice. We are situated close to Penshurst Railway Station making travel to work via public transport easy should this be your desired mode of travel.

There is opportunity to provide cognitive, Autism and ADHD assessments to adults and/or children should this be an area of interest to you. This only forms part of the role if desired by you.

Great supervision opportunities

We provide individual and group depending on the professional interests and needs of our psychologists. Supervision with a Board Approved Supervisor is available to all of our psychologists. We are also able to provide Board Approved Supervision as part of a Clinical Registrar program. If you will be registering as a Psychologist over the coming months please apply.

Qualifications & experience

Hold a Masters or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology including Clinical Psychology registrars OR be a fully Registered Psychologist or to be registering with AHPRA over the next few months.

Tasks & responsibilities

Provision of evidence-based interventions to people presenting with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life issues and adjustment disorder.

You are welcome to provide relationship and family counselling should you be interested in this work. Clinical supervision can be provided in this area if desired.

You decide who you want to work with (adults, adolescents, children, couples or families depending on your skills and interests). Our practice allows our psychologists to work in their areas of interest and expertise.

If you enjoy conducting group work, you are welcome to run a group at Innerwise.

The opportunity to provide assessments including ADHD, Autism and/or Specific Learning Disorders if desired.
