About the role

JC Maintenance & Contracting PTY LTD is seeking a reliable and skilled gardener to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. This is a casual position, providing the flexibility to balance work and personal commitments, with the potential to lead to full time employment. As a Maintenance Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the efficient upkeep of our client properties.

What you'll be doing

Lawn mowing, whipper snipping, gardening, gutter cleaning and landscaping

Carrying out general maintenance and household repair tasks

Assisting tradespeople with larger projects, providing additional hands and support

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols

Responding promptly to client requests and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth coordination of maintenance activities

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a gardening or labouring role, ideally in the property or construction industry

Good practical skills and the ability to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks

A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, willing to take on a range of tasks as needed

A valid driver's licence

WWVP and National police check mandatory
