About the Role
This is a hands-on role that blends tech, design, and craftsmanship. You’ll be part of a close knit team that delivers custom marine flooring and fabrication solutions to boat owners, dealers, and builders across Australia.

We provide training for the right person, but strong computer skills, a love of boats, and a willingness to learn are essential.

What will you be doing?

Templating boats using 3D scanning technology

Creating 2D/3D CAD drawings (experience not essential, but preferred)

Operation of the CNC router and CO2 laser machines

Manufacturing and installation of Marine Mat EVA/PE foam flooring

Assisting with the design and prototyping of new products using Fusion 360

Design & production of products (switch panels, dash panels etc.) from various plastics and acrylic

Liaising with clients to bring their vision to life

Supporting general workshop duties to keep things running smoothly

We are looking for someone who:

Is confident with computers and keen to learn CAD and CNC software - software specific training provided

Has a neat and tidy appearance and a high attention to detail

Is physically fit and capable of hands-on work

Is motivated, relatable, and willing to roll up their sleeves

Enjoys working independently and in a small team

Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in the finished product

Is passionate about boating, fabrication, and learning new skills

Requirements:

Valid WA Drivers License - manual preferred

Forklift license is desirable, but not essential

Permanent resident of Australia with Australian working rights.
