ABOUT THE POSITION:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Coordinator, Corporate Development will be to successfully recruit new Corporate Partners and Corporate Members (Corporate Supporters) and provide exceptional account management for a portfolio of Corporate Supporters. The position will drive revenue growth and Corporate Supporter retention, and build Museums Victoria's reputation for delivering world-class partnerships.

Some of the key duties include:

Deliver exceptional account management and daily servicing for Corporate Supporters, including reporting, KPI tracking, and budget oversight.

Thoroughly research prospective corporate prospects and prepare briefing materials for senior staff.

Develop and implement strategies to drive Corporate Supporter renewals, revenue, and long-term value.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify new opportunities for Corporate Supporters that are also aligned with the museum's strategic priorities.

Create compelling proposals for current and prospective Corporate Supporters.

Support cultivation and stewardship activities, including event planning and stakeholder engagement.

Develop and execute communication plans to strengthen senior relationships with corporate supporters.

Draft, monitor, and ensure compliance with Corporate Supporter agreements in coordination with the Legal team.

Provide regular updates, progress reports, and high-level analysis to senior leadership.

Maintain accurate records and communications in centralised systems, including the CRM.

Comply with Museums Victoria policies, legislation, and OH&S requirements.

The successful applicant will have:

Proven experience in recruiting and managing corporate partnerships, including proposal development, marketing, contracts, budgeting, reporting, and agreement servicing, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications.

Strong stakeholder management skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach to building and maintaining relationships.

Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience preparing a range of professional documents.

Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritise work and multi-task in a dynamic environment, resilience under pressure, and a proactive attitude toward taking responsibility and embracing change.

Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, and external organisations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with experience producing presentations and reports for varied audiences.

The successful applicant is required to undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a VPS4.1, Full-Time, Ongoing position. The salary offered is $92,332 base of grade + 11.5% superannuation.
