Senior Dietitian (HP4)
Temporary Full-Time until 30 June 2025
Location: Regional Queensland
Salary: $65 to $75 ph + super

Are you an experienced Dietitian ready to lead and make a real impact in rural and remote communities?
We are seeking a Senior Dietitian to join a dynamic and supportive Allied Health team providing high-quality clinical nutrition services across hospital, aged care, outpatient and community settings. This is your opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level, generalist dietetic services to clients across all age groups in inpatient, outpatient, community, and outreach settings.
• Provide clinical leadership within the team and manage complex caseloads with a high degree of independence.
• Contribute to service development through quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and mentoring of junior staff and students.
• Support integrated care through collaborative teamwork, both locally and through telehealth services.
• Actively engage in professional development and service innovation to improve patient outcomes.

About You
To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience in delivering dietetic services across the continuum of care, ideally in rural or regional settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning and autonomous decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and supervision skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
• Commitment to quality improvement and the use of evidence-based practice.

Mandatory Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status through Dietitians Australia.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar setting
• Eligibility for Medicare provider status.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence (or equivalent).
• Ability and willingness to travel for outreach services, including overnight stays.
