Position: Dental Technician

We are a well-established practice for nearly 10 years in the local community with a loyal patient base in Port Macquarie and Lake Cathie.

Our practice is equipped with the up-to-date technology including OPG, intra-oral cameras, Medit OS scanner, milling machine, digital radiography, and Praktika Software.

Main Tasks and Duties:

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following tasks and duties:

Fabrication of full and partial dentures

Construction of crowns, bridges, and veneers (PFM, all-ceramic, zirconia)

Designing and manufacturing orthodontic appliances

Fabrication of implant-supported prostheses

Digital design using CAD/CAM (e.g., Exocad, 3Shape)

Waxing, casting, pressing, and finishing of restorations

Accurate shade selection and aesthetic customization

Use of articulators and facebows for occlusal reproduction

Repair, reline, and rebase of removable prostheses

Maintaining strict infection control and laboratory safety protocols

Communication with dentists and clinical staff to clarify case details

Salary: $75,000.00to$85,000.00 per annum plus11.5% superannuation.

Qualification: Diploma of Dental Technology or equivalent.

Experience: A Candidate is required to have at least three (3) years of working experience within the field Dentistry.
