About the Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to play a vital role in the daily operations of our venue. You’ll lead a dynamic team, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service at every turn. In addition to leading our day-to-day operations, the Assistant Manager is also responsible for rostering, labour costing, and achieving KPI targets. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences
Maintain in-depth product knowledge across menus, wine lists, cocktails, and spirits
Supervise the Events team, ensuring all functions run seamlessly from arrival to farewell
Manage gaming operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and compliance
Drive performance by managing labour costs, rostering, and budget adherence
Ensure accurate end-of-day cash-up procedures and thorough venue close-downs
Stay across venue compliance requirements and uphold operational standards
Lead, coach, and develop the team through hands-on support and effective communication
Contribute to the planning and execution of creative promotions and venue initiatives
About you:
Minimum three (3) years of experience in an Assistant Manager or 2IC role in a high volume hospitality environment
Highly motivated, customer focused, and passionate about hospitality
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with efficiency and composure
Proven experience in staff rostering, labor cost management, and budget control
A solid track record of meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
A natural and confident leader with exceptional communication skills
RSA and RCG accredited with a strong gaming background
Have strong product knowledge in craft beer, wine and spirits
Have full availability to work a mix of nights, weekends and day shifts
A police check is required for this role
