About the role

This is an opportunity for a Disability Support Worker to have steady and reliable work, with hours starting at 15 per week and the option to increase for the right person.

Activities of daily living - therapy-led activities, hobbies, advocacy.

Mental Health Supports - Provide advocacy and support for the client and assist in creating a strong, supportive environment.

Community and Social Access - transport to and from medical/therapy appointments, social access, participation in activities that express personal interests

Domestic assistance - general tidying, meal preparation.

Duty of Care - maintain diligence throughout the shift to ensure the client is supported when needed.

About you

Availability across 7 days for day shifts between 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, as well as flexibility to work in the evenings.

Preference for those with experience supporting individuals with complex mental health conditions such as Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety, etc.

An approachable personality that keeps things light and fun while maintaining a client-centered focus.

Passionate about supporting independence and providing in-home support.

Own a car and driver's license.

NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).

National Police Check (or willing to obtain).

Working with Children Clearance (or willing to obtain).
