Remuneration: From $49.28 per hour + 11.5 % Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in our UnitingCare team
We are currently seeking a Child and Family Practitioner to join our Family Intervention Service (FIS) team based on the Sunshine Coast on a part time basis of 4 or 4.5 days per week on a six-month contract.
In this role you will;
Provide a holistic response to the needs of families whose children are at imminent risk of out of home placement or requiring reunification following a period of out of home care
Work intensively with families in their homes to address issues relating to, but not limited to, child protection concerns
By providing negotiated combinations of therapeutic interventions, practical and emotional support, counselling and education, families are offered opportunities to make informed decisions and change for their future
What makes a difference for us?
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Human Service related field
Qld Drivers Licence
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
A minimum of two years’ experience in Human Services or Prior FIS and Child Protection experience preferred
You will have a strong passion and knowledge base for working with families and children within a therapeutic context
You will be able to build strong working relationships with families and key stakeholders and positively represent the activities of UnitingCare
