About the role
As a member of the Grace Removals team, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our friendly team at this entry level role. You will be supporting our experienced crew and learning the specialist skills of our trade; the role is varied; where no two days are the same. From this first step, our Skills Path training scheme will take you on a learning journey to a whole new career. Maybe in the future you will drive one of our trucks, run our warehouse or run the company!

Duties

Carefully loading and unloading furniture and other household/office items onto and off the removal truck

Disassembling and reassembling furniture as required

Wrapping and protecting items to prevent damage during transit

Assisting with the placement of items in the new location as directed by the customer

Providing excellent customer service throughout the relocation process

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment on the removal truck

Adhering to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a removalist assistant or in a similar manual handling role (preferred but not required)

Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service

Effective communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
