Our client is an Australian company dealing in pallet and container pooling services, serving customers in a range of industrial and retail supply chains.

We currently have two roles available at their site. Please note, superannuation is paid in addition to the hourly rate.

Role Title: De-Nailer
Start Date: ASAP pending successful medical assessment
Hours: Weekly Roster Monday - Friday | Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:10pm

Role Title: Pallet Repairer
Start Date: ASAP pending successful medical assessment
Hours: Weekly Roster Monday - Friday | Day Shift: 2:30pm - 10:40pm

Duties of De-Nailer:
- Using site equipment to remove nails from damaged pallets
- After removing nails, provide Pallet Repair team with wooden planks to re-use
- Dispose of damaged planks
- General housekeeping
- Adhering to safety, health & environment policies and procedures

Duties of Pallet Repair:
- Assessing and subsequently repairing wooden pallets using a hammer, lever bar and pneumatic nail gun and grinder
- Manual handing up to 20kgs
- Washing and repairing of other products
- General housekeeping
- Basic use of computer navigation systems
- Adhering to safety, health & environment policies and procedures

About You:
- Be reliable and physically fit in general
- A strong commitment to safety
- Excellent attendance and employment record
- Pass drug & alcohol screening and full medical assessment
- Possess a current driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Previous experience using relevant hand tools
