About the role

Join the team at Hart Recycling as a full-time Excavator Operator based in Sunshine West, (Preferably experience with Sennabogans or similar machines) In this key role, you will operate and maintain large excavators to efficiently load and move materials at our busy recycling facility. You will play a vital part in our operations, safety and environmental mission to provide sustainable solutions. Our salary range includes a base pay plus generous overtime

What you'll be doing

Operate excavators in a safe and efficient manner to load materials onto trucks and move stockpiles

Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on excavators to ensure optimal performance

Work closely with the wider site team to coordinate material movements and contribute to the overall productivity of the facility

Adhere to all site safety protocols and environmental regulations

Provide feedback and suggestions to improve excavator utilization and site operations

What we're looking for

Experienced Operators in a recycling or industrial setting

Proficient in the operation of various excavator models and attachments

Strong knowledge of recycling plant and equipment is desired.

Excellent attention to detail and safety-focused mindset

Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
