We are currently seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our night shift team. If you’re passionate about making a real difference in the lives of others and prefer working overnight hours, we would love to hear from you.

As a Personal Care Assistant on the night shift, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care in line with individual care plans, under the guidance of Registered Nurses and Clinical Care Coordinators. Your focus will be on maintaining the comfort, safety, and dignity of our residents overnight, ensuring a peaceful and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care in accordance with the care plan and instructions from Registered Nurses.

Monitor residents overnight and report any changes in health or wellbeing.

Support residents with personal care needs during night hours.

Assist with safe administration of medication (if certified).

Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Ensure a calm, safe, and respectful night-time environment for residents.

Manage and prioritise tasks independently throughout the night.

About You

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (Aged Care)

Experience:

Previous experience in aged care or a similar healthcare role is preferred, especially in a night shift setting.

Skills & Attributes:

Empathetic and caring nature, particularly toward the elderly

Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout night shifts

Strong communication and documentation skills

Good time management and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of aged care legislation and procedures is a plus
