About the Role
We’re looking for compassionate and committed Registered Nurses ready to take the next step in their mental health nursing career. In this dynamic role, you'll provide direct and comprehensive care to consumers in a supportive health service setting, guided by the values of SA Health and the National Mental Health Policy. Whether you're newly qualified or growing in your clinical expertise, you'll have the opportunity to develop from a novice to a proficient practitioner through ongoing professional development, hands-on experience, and collaboration with senior nursing staff.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work alongside experienced Level 2/3 Mental Health Nurses to deliver individual case management, education, counselling, and group work—key elements in supporting consumer recovery and wellbeing. You'll also engage with families, other health professionals, and community organisations to ensure holistic and coordinated care. About You
You’re a dedicated and compassionate mental health nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting recovery-focused outcomes. Your strong clinical knowledge, collaborative mindset and commitment to ethical practice make you a valuable member of any healthcare team.
Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate and postgraduate mental health nursing qualification
Proven clinical competence in mental health care, including assessment, planning and therapeutic interventions
Excellent communication, time management and critical thinking skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, recovery frameworks and ethical nursing standards in the Australian context
