About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Sonographer to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this role, you will deliver expert ultrasound services across a range of clinical specialities using advanced diagnostic equipment. Working with a high degree of professional autonomy, you’ll play a critical role in delivering quality patient care while supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment. Your advanced technical skills and clinical insight will be pivotal in managing complex imaging procedures and ensuring best practice standards are maintained at all times.
You will also be actively engaged in developing your own specialist knowledge while contributing to the growth and expertise of the wider team. This includes mentoring colleagues, supporting professional development, and participating in research and quality assurance programs. About You
You’re a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Sonographer with a commitment to delivering outstanding diagnostic services and contributing to a supportive, high-performing team. With a strong understanding of both standard and complex ultrasound procedures, you bring professional judgement, initiative, and adaptability to every examination you perform.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Extensive experience in performing a broad range of complex ultrasound imaging procedures, with in-depth knowledge of best practice and quality assurance standards.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and flexible approach, with a strong ability to analyse clinical needs, contribute to service development, and support the training and development of others.
A sound understanding of safe work practices, client confidentiality, and professional responsibilities, including knowledge of current trends, EEO, and Work Health and Safety.
