About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Vascular Surgery Fellow to join our team and enhance your expertise in managing patients within a dynamic and supportive unit. In this role, you will undertake the supervised care of patients, ensuring thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, clinical progress, and discharge summaries. You'll have the opportunity to develop and refine your procedural skills, with increasing independence and dexterity, all while contributing to patient-centred care within the Vascular Surgery Unit.
As a Vascular Surgery Fellow, you will engage in continuous professional development by attending tutorials, clinical meetings, and through independent study. You’ll also have the chance to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to teaching and training programs for interns and medical students. About You
You are a motivated and skilled medical professional committed to providing high-quality care. With a strong foundation in clinical practice, you are eager to develop your expertise in vascular surgery while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
MBBS or equivalent, with AHPRA registration and completed intern training
Strong communication skills with a commitment to quality improvement and safe practice
Ability to recognise professional limitations and respond to feedback constructively
Demonstrated clinical competence and experience working in multidisciplinary teams
