About the Team
Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) was conceived in 2021 to coordinate and optimise the future learner experience. It consists of three core functions where cross-functional resources will ensure emerging priorities and peak periods of activity are met.
Future Learner Recruitment and Admissions: responsible for future learner recruitment and admissions through planning and leading sales activity, by creating competitive offerings that package courses, scholarships and credit and providing efficient assessment and processing of applications for prospective learners. This team is organised around segments/cohorts and focused on nurturing relationships with new, current, and returning learners as well as agents and pathway partners, both in Australia and overseas.
About the Role
The Senior Recruitment Officer must apply admissions policies and procedures expediently in order to facilitate entry of international students to UTS courses via different pathways, ensure compliance with UTS application and admission procedures by contracted agents, support faculties in increasing their external income through admission of international students, and secure the cooperation of UTS Pathway Providers and the Student Administration Unit (SAU) in order to achieve the University's strategic objective.
The Senior Recruitment Officer is also responsible for handling a large volume of complex admissions queries from UTS Agents and applicants while maintaining a high level of service to agents from the Region. The position is also responsible for the effective supervision of a Student Advisor or a Support Services Assistant.
If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting international student recruitment and income generation.
- Ensuring timely, consistent, and policy-compliant admissions processing
- Supervising and training staff for efficient application handling
- Maintaining low-risk rating under the Streamlined Student Visa Framework (SSVF)
- Generating and analysing statistical reports for strategic planning.
- Promoting UTS through international recruitment events and ensure legislative compliance

- Extensive relevant experience in working in an international admissions environment including the assessment of international applications for admission.
- In-depth knowledge of overseas education systems and their equivalence in Australian terms.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of international student legislation and policies.
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and reviews of policies and procedures, revision and implementing change where deemed appropriate.
Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $95,893 to $103,828 (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
