About the Position
We are offering exciting opportunities to be part of our Airport Services team, with two key roles available. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking casual work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
As an Aviation Screening Officer (Casual), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of Onslow Airport operations. Your primary responsibility will be conducting passenger and baggage screening in strict accordance with aviation security legislation and standards. This frontline security role requires strong verbal communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service while upholding all security protocols.
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.
- Hold (or be able to obtain and maintain) an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Hold a Certificate II in Security Operations or Certificate II in Transport Security Protection or be willing to complete company-provided training.
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain and maintain one).
All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2022.
