We are looking for an experienced Head waiter/waitress with experience in fine dining and a strong knowledge of service and wine.

Madeleine is a French bistro, open Wednesday to Sunday on Beaufort street.

Our vision is to use the best local and French produced, work closely with some small butchers, bakeries, growers, honey producers etc… to find the best ingredients and make the produce the star which is the base of French cuisine.

But to create a memorable experience, you must provide an exceptional Service from start to finish. We are pride to provide an incredible service in a casual/ bistro atmosphere.

Skills and Experience required:

-At least 3 years of experience in restaurants (fine dining preferred)

-The ability to multitask and be a team player.

-Have great communication skills and a perfect English

-Knowledge in wine and service

-Have a valid RSA or Manager liquor card

-The capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

-The passion for hospitality and the production of memorable experience

-Be fluent in English

Most important, you must have a genuine passion for food, wine and coffee and love what you are doing.

We are offering 30 to 40 hrs for the right person, casual position with penalties and weekend rates.
