Are you a passionate solicitor looking to make a real difference in people's lives? YFS Legal, Logan’s only community legal centre since 1992, is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team.

This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will provide legal advice and representation across a diverse range of issues, act as a domestic violence duty lawyer, and deliver vital community legal education.

About the Role

📍 Location: Slacks Creek, Jimboomba, Beenleigh, Beaudesert & Cleveland Courts

📝 Type: Permanent, full-time

💰 Salary: $106,730 - $111,448 per year (based on experience), with salary sacrificing available

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and assistance in domestic violence, family law, and civil law

Represent clients as a Domestic Violence Duty Lawyer

Deliver community legal education to help individuals understand their rights

Connect clients to essential support services, including financial counselling, mental health, domestic and family violence, housing, and employment assistance

Hold DV duty lawyer accreditation or have the ability to obtain it

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

✔ A strong client focus – committed to delivering compassionate and effective legal support

✔ Dedication to justice and equity – advocating for those in need

✔ Inclusiveness and cultural awareness – ensuring fair and respectful service for all

You must hold a Practising Certificate from the Queensland Law Society or the Bar Association of Queensland. Domestic Violence Duty Lawyer accreditation is highly desirable, along with experience in family law and domestic violence matters.
