About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Italian Language Teacher to join our Girotondo Program. This role is focused on designing and delivering engaging, play-based Italian language lessons tailored for preschool-aged children between 3 and 5 years old. The ideal candidate will foster a warm, inclusive, and culturally enriching classroom environment that supports early language learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging Italian language lessons for preschool-aged children.

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Incorporate age-appropriate teaching methods into the curriculum.

Prepare materials and ensure classroom organization.

Collaborate with staff and communicate with families about children's progress.

We are excited to find someone who brings the following qualities and qualifications to our team:

Educational Expertise: A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a higher related qualification in Education, paired with a strong background in early childhood development.

Preparedness: Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis—or the willingness to obtain these vital credentials.

Experience with Preschoolers: Professional experience working with children aged 3–5, showcasing a passion for nurturing their growth and creativity.

Language Proficiency: C1 level or native-level fluency in Italian to deliver engaging lessons seamlessly.

Organizational Skills: Exceptional classroom management abilities and a knack for creating engaging and structured learning environments.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of child safety, well-being, and health policies to ensure a secure and inclusive environment for all.

Communication Excellence: Outstanding interpersonal skills for liaising with young children, their families, and colleagues effectively.

Collaborative Spirit: A proactive and team-oriented approach to supporting program goals and fostering community engagement.

Compliance: Holding a valid Working with Children’s check, a current full or probationary driver’s license, and the right to work in Australia.
