A well-established mid-tier accounting firm in the Melbourne CBD is seeking an experienced Assistant/Audit Manager to join their team. Your Role

• Manage end-to-end external audit engagements across various industries
• Supervise, train, and review work of junior team members
• Liaise directly with clients and maintain long-term relationships
• Ensure audit compliance with applicable standards and firm methodology
• Support the growth and development of the audit division alongside the Partner

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in external audit within Australian public practice
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Experience with CaseWare, MYOB, Xero or similar platforms is desirable
