Cardiac Sonographer

Our client in regional Victoria is looking for a passionate and skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join their dynamic team. You'll enjoy autonomy in performing echocardiograms and also collaborate closely with Cardiologists in conducting Stress Echocardiograms, contributing directly to critical clinical decision-making.

As a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer, you'll be the driving force behind critical cardiac diagnostics for both outpatients and inpatients within the Clinical Diagnostic Unit, and have the chance to make a significant impact on patient outcomes in the Shepparton region.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering high quality Echocardiograms
• Conducting Stress Echocardiograms (in collaboration with Cardiologists)
• Championing best practice through active participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Providing guidance and support in the supervision of trainee sonographers
• Comply with National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards and other legislative requirements

Cardiac Sonographer - Key Skills & Criteria

• Current Registration: Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry or for overseas trained candidates you must have reciprocal qualifications and experience to acquire ASAR
• Essential level of Experience: Minimum of 3 yrs as a Cardiac Sonographer
• Best Practice Leadership: Driving continuous quality improvement.
• Precision & Accuracy: Ensuring impeccable documentation and patient safety.
• Clear Communication: Effectively escalate critical findings.
