Responsibilities:

As an accountant with us, you will handle a range of financial accounting activities, including but not limited to:

Preparing Income Tax Returns for all entities (Company, Trust, Individual, SMSF)

Preparing End of Year Financial Statements

Preparing Business and Instalment Activity Statements (BAS & IAS)

Liaising with clients to address queries promptly and accurately

Liaising with the ATO or other third parties on behalf of clients when required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Must be a permanent resident of Australia

Minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience in Australian and public practice

Proficiency in accounting software (experience in XERO, MYOB and QuickBooks preferred)

-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Advanced time management skills, including planning, prioritising, and scheduling tasks
