Intermediate Tax Accountant - PUBLIC PRACTICE ACCOUNTING CAREER PATHWAY

$70K - $85K + super

This firm attracts a very diverse client base from small to medium entities through to significantly large and diverse complex companies and has been in business for 60 years.

The role:

The preparation of clients work to trial balance including work papers and relevant reconciliations

The preparation of income tax returns and financial statements

Dealing with Division 7A, CGT and FBT calculations

Supporting Senior Accountants and Managers / Directors

Payroll, Superannuation, Payroll Tax and Workcover processing and calculations for the team's portfolio of payroll clients

Preparation of BAS’s and IAS’s

Applying the knowledge of relevant taxation legislation

To be considered you will ideally have;

Your CA/CPA Qualifications or studying towards

Strong tax compliance interpretation skills

2 - 3 + years’ experience in an Australian Accounting Firm

Experience producing tax returns and financial statements for companies, trusts and partnerships

Experience with XERO Tax, MYOB AE

Pride in the work you do
